On May 23th, PERMIT Ningbo organised our first online election. We use Zoom and Youtube to broadcast the revolutionary election, and had over 250 audiences. We also invited 4 remarkable former presidents of Ningbo, to share their opinions and ideas to the candidate president.

Indonesian Students’ Association in Ningbo, China
is honored to function as a platform to embrace
and help all Indonesians in Ningbo.
They develop amazing Indonesian recipes that will teleport you back home and its taste will get rid of your homesickness. These authentic Indonesian foods served by our own “Warung Indonesia” includes ayam geprek, nasi gila and so on. We work together on making life in China more comfortable by providing foods that are close to the heart of the students. This division takes advantage of the students’ cooking skills in order to deliver a state of the art Indonesian food that will surely amaze the buyers’ taste buds. Kelontong is another program that is organized by the business and development team in which they help provide supplies of Indonesian goods such as sambal, kecap manis, tolak angin, etc. BD is able to help students get access to medicines, cooking ingredients, etc without having to go through the extra miles in getting their hands on them. All these funds gained from the sales will then be allocated to all the divisions of PERMIT in order to realize the goal in making events that will benefit the Indonesian students studying in China.
The objective of PR & Sponsorship is to establish, maintain and develop the organization’s relationship with external parties such as Indonesian companies, media partners, and all Indonesian students studying in China. The responsibility of marketing involves managing PERMIT Ningbo’s social media (Instagram, WeChat, YouTube) and other promotional measures that raises public recognition towards PERMIT Ningbo. Together with the Media & IT team, PR & Sponsorship manages all of the published contents on PERMIT Ningbo’s website. Furthermore, this team is also in charge of proposing sponsorship and partnership contracts to companies for the funding of its projects. Sponsorship plays a significant role in hosting PERMIT Ningbo’s events throughout the year, primarily as the main source of funding. Through PR & Sponsorship, PERMIT Ningbo is able to reach out not only to students, but also professionally to companies and other organizations all around Indonesia and China.
There would normally be one coordinator for CAS division, but does not rule out the possibility for this division to have more than one coordinator in the future. Indonesian Sports Day is an annual event where Indonesian students studying abroad, especially in China competes in various kind of sports, not only in conventional sports that involves physical contacts, but also e-sports such as Counter Strike, Mobile Legends, DOTA, and many more. This event is created in hopes that it will be able to further strengthen the bond between students studying in China. Secondly, there is Indonesian Cultural Performance. Indonesian Cultural Performance is another annual event from PERMIT that shows off Indonesian students’ talents through drama, music, and dance. Through this event, PERMIT would also be able to promote and introduce Indonesian’s culture to international audience, as we Indonesian students that are studying abroad are living in international communities with people coming from all around the globe.
This division will then work together with the Public Relation division to help PERMIT with its image. For each event PERMIT holds, the media team will be responsible in making all the designs and posters from scratch. Our media team are skilled in making different kinds of designs according to each occasion. So all the designs made for events such as ICP (Indonesian Cultural Performance), Charity event, ISD (Indonesian Sports Day) and so on. Alongside posters, the team is also responsible in documenting all the activities conducted in PERMIT’s various events. The team is also required to make posters for special dates such Valentines, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas, Ramadhan, Vesak, and other important dates in the calendar since PERMIT’s social media is always required to be active at all times. PERMIT has recently decided to use more social media platforms such as youtube, Instagram, WeChat and Youku in promoting their events. This means that PERMIT’s Design and Media team will have additional workloads in order to handle all the posters and videos needed for the organization.
By organizing such programs, it aims to accommodate the aspiration and difficulties faced by Indonesian students in Ningbo. As an educational platform, all of the educational contents delivered through PERMIT Ningbo’s social media accounts is created by Academic & Recreation division. It currently focuses on developing informational contents about Ningbo to be published in PERMIT Ningbo’s YouTube account. Company Visit is one of the most-awaited valuable programs organized by this division, which enables Indonesian students to explore the growth different industries in China by learning from well-established multinational corporation. Furthermore, the A&R division is responsible for designing recreational activities for both internal and external parties of PERMIT Ningbo.
